Hoath Primary School
Hoath Primary School is located in the village of Hoath, about five miles from Canterbury. The present building was built in 1928.
It is a recognised small school, comprising of two classrooms, one mobile classroom, one outdoor classroom, a library, play and art areas, resource area, servery kitchen, main entrance room and office. The school has no hall but we have frequent use of the village hall opposite.
The school is sited in spacious grounds with playgrounds, playing field, outdoor stage, environmental area, meadow area and gardens.
There are two classes; Infants and Juniors. The official Admission number for each Year group is 8, with a maximum number of children on roll at 56.

Welcome to our part of the Hoath Village Web site. Although Hoath School is small, we have an active PTA and we greatly appreciate the fantastic support we receive from the village at all of our events.
We look forward to posting all our events on this site and keeping you up-to-date with our fund raising efforts. You will find on the site our recent letter to all parents and friends.
The school will be having a 'grand opening' of the new infant classroom sometime soon. It is proving a great asset , completed over the summer holidays on the site of the old mobile classroom. All classes now have much more space and flexiblity and everyone is delighted!
PTA News March 2007 - auction of promises
Dear Parents, Staff, governors and friends,
We wanted to let you all know that we are planning an ‘auction of promises’ to raise funds for school projects and therefore we are on the look out for ‘promises’ to auction! This will be on Saturday April 28th. We would hope that any promise that is purchased would be ‘used’ in this calendar year.
Please would you think about what you may be able to offer.. the possibilities are endless! From a week or weekends use of a beach hut , a celebration cake, a flight, a boat trip, a massage, instruction in a craft.. or skill… how to decorate a cake, make candles, make a children’s dress, knit, paint a picture… anything… or offering to make a meal for 2 or 4 in your house or as a delivery to theirs! A session of 2 hours of gardening! ..or 2 hours of cleaning.. a horse riding lesson… word processing etc. .Hosting a children’s party! Loan of a hedge trimmer! Or other tools…. As well as what you may be able to offer do think of what you might like to ‘buy’ to give us more ideas too!
Please pass your ideas /offers on to one of the PTA or to the School office.
